Electromagnetic radiation (even the very high-frequency 5G standard) penetrates deep enough into the human body to cause serious harm, particularly in the brain. Studies show that this radiation impairs neurogenesis, increases cancer risk, and poses a massive threat to mental health.

How harmful electromagnetic radiation must be in the long term can already be sensed when you hold a cellphone to your ear for just a short time. After just a few seconds, you can feel your hearing becoming muffled, and a gradually intensifying pain develops, as if the inner ear is being cooked. Depending on the length of the conversation, these symptoms can persist for some time afterward. Intuitively, one can see that such symptoms should be avoided altogether – which is why I use a cellphone only in exceptional cases and only on speaker mode, keeping as much distance as possible.
Admittedly, this is only anecdotal evidence and does not allow a reliable conclusion about the health effects of such radiation in detail. Too many people, however, are inclined to simply be convinced that such symptoms are harmless or even that they are merely imagining them – a blatant insult, if you ask me. For my part, I am not at all prone to imagining symptoms or being sensitive to even very challenging conditions – if I had to prove this with one reference, I would point to my participation in the Race Across America (link to documentary) as evidence of my resilience – yet I am familiar with these sensations from my own experience. It would be wise, then, to ignore the trivializations from industry, media, and politics and take one's own perception as a reason to delve deeper into the scientific literature.
And indeed: alarming scientific findings on this subject are not new, but more and more studies have been appearing in recent years, objectively confirming my long-held concerns about the dangers of mobile communications for physical and mental health, which I have also repeatedly pointed out in my books on Alzheimer's prevention. This is also illustrated by the American physician Dr. Joseph Mercola in an overview article on Uncutnews.ch from July 4, 2024.[1] The studies cited there show that radiofrequency radiation (RFR), which includes but is not limited to the new 5G network, impairs the formation of brain cells (neurogenesis) and causes neuronal DNA damage. Genetic damage, of course, also increases cancer risk, as more and more studies now show as an effect of high-frequency radiation.[2]
RFR not only accelerates the development of Alzheimer's dementia, as has been proven, but must certainly also affect the development of the child's brain: In adults, nerve cells are only formed in the autobiographical memory center; in young years, however, it is still the case that new nerve cells are formed and mature throughout the brain in large numbers. It is important to know that radiation penetrates human tissue more deeply, the lower its frequency. It is often reassuringly pointed out that the heavily criticized 5G radiation, with its 0.7 to 2.5 gigahertz (GHz), belongs to the high-frequency electromagnetic radiation range and cannot penetrate deeply – nevertheless, it can penetrate about 1 to 3 cm into human tissue. This is quite enough to cause direct neurological damage or indirect damage via neuroinflammation.[3]
Our autobiographical memory center, the hippocampus, is particularly sensitive throughout life, as animal studies clearly show.[4] Its function and that of our so-called mental immune system depend on the lifelong and continuous production of new nerve cells.
The so-called adult hippocampal neurogenesis is fundamental to all functions of the mental immune system, such as natural human curiosity, psychological resilience, and cognitive and memory abilities – in short, everything that makes humans human. It is also the most vulnerable process in the human brain. A direct impairment is not the only conceivable source of disturbance; electromagnetic radiation can lead to the formation of brain-damaging radicals or DNA breaks, and inflammatory responses induced by radiation, as mentioned earlier, can also occur far from the exposure sites, such as in the meninges or other organs, and indirectly disrupt sensitive processes.
From the perspective of the low penetration depth of high-frequency radiation, one might think that the hippocampus, located in the center of the brain, is relatively shielded from possible effects – in practice, however, as can be seen here, it is by no means exempt from the damage caused by RFR.
In my book "The Indoctrinated Brain," I wrote extensively under the heading "Brain-Damaging 'Social Life'" about the connections between cellphone use, mobile radiation, mental performance, and ultimately a global indoctrination agenda:
Even before the lockdown measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, there were few people left who were not constantly in contact with a smartphone or similar smart device. This frequency of interaction with digital devices intensified significantly due to the pandemic measures, as the digital route was at times the only permitted means of social interaction. Digitalization is also expanding rapidly in public spaces: in some places, for example, one now needs a QR code scanner just to park one's car. Animal experiments showed years ago that long-term cellphone exposure damages the hippocampus. In the study, the exposure was 48 minutes per day for 30 to 180 days with radiation ranging from 900 to 1800 MHz.[5] A year later, Iranian researchers wrote in their article on the effects of high-frequency exposure by a GSM cellphone on the proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis of neural stem cells (NSCs):
“[...] an accumulated dose of GSM 900-MHz RF-EMF has devastating effects on the proliferation and neurogenesis of NSCs, which calls for more caution regarding the use of mobile devices.”[6]
However, with the expansion of the 5G network, which was pushed forward with such vehemence even during the lockdown as if the survival of the mobile communications industry or even society as a whole depended on this project, and with thousands of Starlink satellites (intended to eliminate 5G dead zones worldwide), radiation with even higher frequency and thus higher energy will reach every corner of smart cities. The two radiologists Shearwood McClelland 3rd and Jerry Jaboin from Oregon Health and Science University posed the central question regarding the worldwide 5G expansion and radiation safety in their scientific article: "Reassuring or Russian Roulette?"[7] A possible answer to this was formulated by Dr. Jin-Hwa Moon of the University Children's Hospital Seoul, Korea, in her article on the health effects of electromagnetic fields on children:
“The nervous system of children is more sensitive to the effects of electromagnetic waves than that of adults.”[8]
Unfortunately, governments systematically ignore these harmful effects in the smart digitalization of our society, as a U.S. federal court found in a lawsuit filed by the Environmental Health Trust (EHT) for the U.S. in August 2021 – which will hopefully serve as a signal for other nations. Devra Davis, PhD, MPH, and EHT president on the ruling:
“If cell phones were a drug, they would have been banned years ago. 5G would never have been brought to market. A steadily growing number of published studies — ignored by the FCC [Federal Communications Commission] — clearly indicate that exposure to wireless radiation can lead to numerous health effects, especially in children. Research shows that wireless radiation increases cancer risk, damages memory, alters brain development, impairs reproductive health, and more. Furthermore, the way the FCC measures daily radiation exposure from cell phones and cell towers is fatally flawed and gives a false sense of safety.”[9]
From what has been said, several questions arise which, in my opinion, are purely rhetorical in nature – questions whose answers we already know:
Do we need more studies to stop this further attack on the mental immune system?
Isn't the mental health of our children, whose entire brain (not just the hippocampus) is still growing and therefore particularly sensitive, already enough reason to regulate this technology more strictly?
Is the scientifically proven relationship between extensive screen time, the accompanying highly unnatural flood of information (always in combination with additional radiation exposure), and autism spectrum symptoms already sufficient to seriously question the current developments?[10]
All these questions should have been answered with a clear “Yes!” long ago, and so I am left to wonder, without knowing the answer: How long is this supposed to continue unchecked?
Conclusion
Low-frequency radio radiation can penetrate our body tissue, and in the case of high-frequency 5G radio radiation, it can at least penetrate far enough below the surface of the body to cause harm.
Thus, the operation and particularly the further expansion of these networks are extremely dangerous for our physical health, but especially for our mental health. Alternatives to current wireless communication, such as those using light waves (LiFi), already exist and should be expanded instead of continuing to rely on these harmful microwaves.
Regardless of the mode of data transmission, constant engagement with smartphones, computers, televisions, tablets, and gaming consoles itself leads to stress and behavioral issues, impairs the development of social skills, heightens anxiety, and disrupts sleep.
The resulting impairment of the mental immune system not only makes us unhappier. We also become more susceptible to indoctrination processes, and nowadays, the concrete likelihood increases that we are led to surrender our cultural freedom to technocratic narratives.
How dangerous these narratives and the accompanying social changes are for us, our children, and grandchildren, and to whom they serve, can be read in my book “The Indoctrinated Brain.” There I also show in detail how we can individually strengthen our mental immune system and collectively oppose these misanthropic developments. In this lies the opportunity for a happier life – entirely without constant media noise and uninterrupted radiation.
